AMERICAN TIRE & WHEEL INC

American Tire & Wheel charged me $21.78 to have 4 tires topped off with nitrogen. The car has 4300 miles on it. This sounded a little expensive the more I thought about it, so I called Stroupe Tire (didn’t purchase the tires from them) & Orr Honda (I didn’t purchase my car or tires from them). They both offered to top off the tires at no charge. These two businesses are more interested in taking care of you. I asked for an explanation in writing via e-mail, [email protected], and tried American Tire & Wheel's online contact page. I never received a response. What does that tell you? This wasn't my first bad experience with them. Back in 2012, I purchased 4 new tires and rims from them. No one spoke to me or gave me anything in writing that explained the benefits with purchasing tires from them. I had a flat about a year after I bought my tires. A buddy of mine just happened to stop by and asked if I had purchased the tires from American Tire & Wheel. My buddy said, not only would they repair a customers flat tire, they apparently offer free rotations as well. The fact that the salesman failed to mention this to me, let's me know they are more interested in saving a dollar. They don't really care about their customers.
