QUICK-E LUBE

Oil change was performed on our car. The person that did the oil change did not say there were any issues. We left to go on a weekend get away 400 miles from home. We were 120 miles into our trip when we stopped at a fast food restaurant to use the restrooms. When we started the car back up the check oil light was one. It was around 6:30 am. I popped the hood to see if I could see anything and I noticed there was oil all over the lower part of the engine. I traced it back to the oil filter cap. The cap was only screwed down about a 1/4 of the way. I tightened the cap down and had to put 4 quarts of new oil in it. The car holds 4 quarts. All of the oil has sprayed out through the cap area. We were lucky there was a Wal-Mart nearby. I called the business when they opened and told them what had happened. The owner then started to talk about a laundry list of things he remembered that he had to do to the car. He stated there were metal shavings in the grooves of the lid that he had to pick out with an ice pick. After his list all he would say was bring it in and we will look at cleaning it up for you. No thanks. DO not want you near our vehicle again.
