After ordering the parts, he never came back. We should have not paid him in advance, we know now; but since he was calling and ordering from our house, and we had used him before, we did pay him. We made numerous calls and either he had an excuse or didn't answer or return the call. He finally made a date to come but didn't show up. A final call resulted in another excuse; we had a friend call and tentatively set up an appointment, right after we talked to him, and lil bruce said he had plenty of time to service our friend's needs. We'd never use this guy again or recommend him to others.
Description of Work: We used this guy last year to clean chimney without incident. This year we called him again; we are converting an additional fireplace from gas logs to wood. He cleaned both chimney and the converted one requires a new cap and damper; the other chimney, we were told had a rusted cap and it was suggested we replace it also. He called to order the parts, putting them on his credit card. We paid him his usual fee plus $350 for the parts; We've lost $350.
