HONDATECH

My transmission had been slipping, took to Honda Tech in Harrison. They were suppose change the transmission fluid and replace my battery due to that I thought I had the wrong battery in there being as the post was to small and change my oil.
I went to pick up my car and the tech stated they had changed my fluids and replaced my battery.  He stated that the cable still did not fit right so he stuck a penny in there to make it fit right.  Well if I had just wanted it to fit right, I could have just put a penny in there, he said the cable was stretched and that is what the problem was.  Why did he not just say that before replacing the battery? I had him to remove the new battery and put the old one back, at a later time I would have  a new battery cable put on.
I was still having problems with my transmission so I took my car to Don Wessel Honda in Springfield MO.  I was in waiting on my car and the service gal came in and asked me to come out and look at something.  She asked me if I wanted a transmission flush and I advised her I just had one done.  She took me over to the tech working on my car and he showed me the fluid in my transmission was black. I told him it had just been changed the previous month. He stated from the look of it, it had NOT been changed.  He stated even if my transmission was slipping at most we would see metal particles and the fluid would be gray. By this time I had them to change the oil and he stated that it to had not been changed in "a while".
I had Don Wessel's group do all the maint on my vehicle.  I will not use Honda Tech or recommend them again.
