The property was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. However, I received a voicemail from the company today stating that I was charged an additional $137.50 for carpet cleaning. The cleaning lady said there was oil on the carpet and stairs and apparently she had taken pictures of it. Now, not only did I do my best to make sure everything looked nicer than it did when I showed up, I also washed every dish, cleaned the grill, wiped all the counters, took our sheets to the laundry room and at no point in our 2 day stay did we have any oil or oil related products in the home. Also, why would it take 5 days for this phone call to occur? I left 5 days ago, what was the hold up?
I want people to be aware that this company is potentially trying to scam you. We went above and beyond what was asked of us, never damaged any of their property, yet we were taken advantage of by this company for absolutely no reason.
