measure for the hardware and opening size. The door was delivered and I
spent several weeks painting it, only to find when i tried to hang it
that the hardware was not in the right place and the door did not fit
the opening. It took weeks to get a new door and each time I called no
one seemed to know who I was or what my order was about. Each time I
phoned I talked to someone different, and the guy who was in charge of
my original order never returned calls. They finally sent a "real door
guy" to measure and fit the final door, and it works now. Wish I had had
a "real door guy" from the beginning.
Delivery of the in-stock door (1 of the 3) was quick and the installation tech (not an employee) was outstanding.
The other 2 doors, however, were back ordered for months; the installation dates were missed over and over, and they made no effort to update us on the schedule; we always had to call them. When the doors finally did arrive, it wasn't until the old doors were removed that we realized they were the wrong doors. The installation continued because it was February. The company has still not corrected the doors and I've not paid the final portion of the bill as a result. I've spoken on the phone twice and visited the shop once trying to get this straightened out - always promised follow up calls that never come.
