Hansen Plumbing Pro

Charged $2,300 to install 3 feet of easily accessible pipe (half day job). Didn't do the entire job I requested. Took 4 days to actually show up. All in all, 1 out of 10, would not recommend. On a good note... it doesn't leak, so there's that.

Was here when he said he would be here, helped me decided what was best for my bathroom and finished when he said he would get done . He was very polite and will use him when I need any plumbing done.

Love it!  Mr. Hansen was prompt, reasonably priced & cleaned up after he made a mess.

John located the old pipe and dug the ditch, dodging trees and obstacles. It was a pleasure to watch him operate his 4WD backhoe. He is much more than a master plumber, he is also an expert equipment operator. The whole crew worked smoothly and efficiently, doing several phases of the job simultaneously. When we brought in a D4 dozer to close the ditch, John showed he could operate that too. The steep terrain and dense forest in which they worked were about the most difficult one could imagine, but John and his capable helper Terry were up to every challenge and made all the little problems that cropped up go away. This was a major job, costing a total of over $14k including material, but the skills and professionalism they brought to the job made a stressful situation (no running water) seem like routine work. I hope we never have to do such a huge job again, but if we do we would gladly hire Hansen Plumbing. Roots, rocks, copperheads and rain, nothing stopped them from completing the job quickly and  correctly. The end result was 100% satisfaction.

I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND HANSON PLUMBING TO EVERYONE. HANSON PLUMBING DOES GREAT WORK AT A GREAT PRICE. THEY ARE ALWAYS THERE WHEN I NEED THEM. I OWN SEVERAL RENTAL PROPERTIES AND HANSON IS THERE WHEN I NEED THEM. THEY ARE HONEST AND WILL NOT DO REPAIRS IF THEY ARE NOT NEEDED.

Unfortunately it wasn't until we got the recent bill that we realized we had a leak. We could tell it was nothing in the house and with all the recent rain it wasn't evident that it was the yard line as the yard was totally saturated with rain. We called Hansen Plumbing and within a couple of hours he was on site confirming that we indeed had a yard line failure. Happy with the estimate we agreed he should start ASAP which was the next morning as it was late in the day. Promptly  the next morning he came rolling in with his backhoe and  crew and began digging. After opening the ground it was apparent the leak was caused by many rocks being piled in the ditch after initial installation of the PVC yard line. John informed me that if precautions are not taken during installation to protect the water line from the rocks they will eventually puncture the line giving us exactly what we're dealing with today. So in other words there were likely many leaks in this line at the moment! So the best thing to do is to replace the entire line and start over with a new plastic line, not PVC. John could have just as easily repaired the first leaks we found setting us up for future service calls, but he did not. His reasoning was very solid, commonsensical and he obviously cared enough to be truthful with us and advise on the best choice. By the end of the day we had water again with no leaks, and considering how wet the yard was they did a great job putting everything back together!
