The original installer did a horrible job.  We called him several times to correct and he disappeared.  James came out and put a new shower floor in and fixed all the other small issues we had.  We are very happy with his work!

I found Floors by James on Angies List and selected based on the reviews. Before the install, James came for measurements.  He arrived, showed me his certifications, explained the process, and took measurements.  While I had him measure other areas of my home, I indicated to him that I would split the work into several jobs  - he had no problem with this.  Since I planned to install wood plank style tile, I made sure that we discussed the layout - in my research, I liked the random layout the best.  We agreed that this would be the style used for the install.  James sent his estimate and we later agreed on an install date for the first section.  The estimate included taking up and disposal of the carpet which was being replaced.  He also provided me details on materials to purchase (amount of tile, mortar, and grout).

James was there through the entire install.  He was very meticulous about the placement of the tiles to ensure they lined up.  He had a helper who did some tile laying, but mostly kept the materials close by while he worked.  The first two days were spent setting tile with the third and last day for grout.  James is very personable - several times during the install, I would ask him how things were and details on his technique.  He was more than willing to share while he worked. After living with the current installation for a few months, I plan to call him back for the next section.

He did a phenomenal job, and he was incredibly patient. He had to deal with the wrong materials being sent by Lowe's and a host of other problems, but he handled them very well and my floor looks great. He's meticulous and personable. He's very professional, and it's apparent that he cares about what he's doing.

James does a great job and is a great person. He went out of his way to help me with a time sensitive project and was very fair on pricing and his work was great. will definitely use again and would have no problems recommending him to a friend

We purchased ceramic tile through Lowe's in Rogers, AR and we used their installation company.  Their installer promptly contacted us the following day and sent out someone to measure the floor space two days later.  We then received a call on 9/3/13 and scheduled installation for Thursday, 9/5/13.   One issue we did have was at 7:30 pm we received a call saying they would like to reschedule the installation for the following Monday.  Luckily, my wife took this call.  I had just spent the past two evenings packing up bookcases, moving furniture into my garage, dining room and kitchen.  In addition, I also removed the carpet and tack strips.  When the call came I was down to two pieces of furniture left to move.  The person from the installation company said they would call us right back.  No call back that night.  Bright and early on Thursday 9/5/13, the owner called and after apologizing profusely said he would have the installer there at 12 noon.
James to the rescue!  The installer was James Moeller.  He arrived at noon, introduced himself, produced identification and copies of his installation certifications.  Then he went to work.  By time I got home that night, he had finished both hallways and was working on the family room floor.  He stayed until 9 pm to finish the family room.  James was meticulous.  He continually checked the alignment of the tile.  James returned at 8 am on Friday morning.  He grouted the family room, both hallways and layed the tile in the living room.  When I returned home from work around 6 pm, James was finishing up and said he would return on Saturday.  We told him he could finish on Monday if he preferred.  He returned on Monday, finished grouting the living room and installed quarter-round.
The floor looked great.  James was thorough, polite and cleaned up each day before leaving.  I would highly recommend James.
