The job was only done half way. It was sanded and then resealed but not stained. We had an appointment for them to come out and do this job at 8am and we were told it would be an all day job. Mr. Dramis called at noon to say that his crew was eating lunch and they would be there shortly. They showed up at 2pm and were gone by 4pm. And in that two hours they quickly sanded 17 steps and risers, and took a 15 minute smoke break. I asked them why there were white spots on the stairs and why the coating wasn't shiny. I was told it was because the area dried first but in the end it would all look even. So we have white marks where it should be OAK stain. We asked the company to come back out and redo it but we're told that they were only hired to do a $500.00 job and not a $1,200.00 job. We didn't hire this company personally but felt that we should have been treated with more respect then we were. We were treated like it was a bother for them. It would take days for Mr. Dramis to respond to our request and when we called the original contractor who hired him to help us he blamed the floor guy, then the floor guy blamed the contractor for being cheap. He even said you get what you pay for. He had a, you'll take what I give you attitude. **Due to previous experiences with our small claims courts I have no faith in their good old boy court system. I have decided not to try to sue this company, but I will not recommend them to anyone and I will not ever use them in my home again.**
The company did a really good job. They really worked with us and made sure that we liked everything. They tried multiple stains to make sure we like the colors. They were more then willing to customize everything for us. Everything went good. They did not leave any messes. Mr. Dramis was very professional. I didn't talk to the workers much but they seem professional. The price was average.
