The lady who owns the Sewing Studio was a life-saver! She took plenty of time with us during the initial and quot;fittingand quot; and took all our concerns seriously. She knew a lot about the fabric the dress was made of. She was able to suggest a sleeve alteration that worked for the hot, humid summer but still fit the original era of the dress. She gave us a lot of confidence as we left our grandmother's gown with her for alterations.
The alterations were completed fairly quickly - she can tell you just how long it will take her - and everything she did was just perfect! The fit was fabulous and the sleeves made the gown even more beautiful than the original! (We won't tell Grandma that.) Her price was very reasonable. I can't imagine what a and quot;big cityand quot; wedding dress shop would have charged us for this.
I would definitely recommend the Sewing Studio to anyone needing alterations or repairs! Her store hours are limited because she works by herself so call ahead to verify.
