Smith Roofing

I called the contractor to give me a bid on putting shingles on my entire house.  Roger Smith, the contractor, called me back and made an appointment to give me an estimate for the job.  I met with Mr. Smith at my house and he climbed up on the roof and took measurements.  When the measurements were concluded, he made a couple of phone calls and then presented me with a written estimate for doing the job.  I told him I would call in a couple of days if he got the bid.  I had another contractor bid on the job but he didn't get back to me with the estimate for five days.  I gave the job to Mr. Smith.  He told me he would order the material and let me know when he could start the job.  One week later he called and said the material was in and he would like to start at 7:00 on Tuesday morning.  I agreed to this.  At 6:50 AM on Tuesday, Smith Roofing was at my property with 10 workers and a lot of equipment.  They listened as Mr. Smith explained to them just what the job would entail.  He told them about my two gates to keep closed because I have two small dogs.  The crew, including Mr. Smith, immediately went to work.  They worked until 4:00 in the afternoon.  During the work time, Mr. Smith informed me that the roof had some badly rotted boards and was sagging.  He recommended that plywood be applied to make a better deck to nail the shingles to.  I agreed to this additional charge.  The next morning the crew arrived at 6:50 AM.  Work on the roof was completed at 2:30 PM.
The debris from the old shingles and nails was completely cleaned up and hauled off.  A Super Strong Magnet was ran over every inch of the property and all of the old nails were picked up.  Mr. Smith took me on a post job completion tour of the work that was done.
I am extremely satisfied with the job that Smith Roofing did for me and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of a very professional roofing contractor.
