Norris Mechanical Shop Inc

Our air conditioner went out that Norris Mechanical installed in 2011. The unit was purchased with a ten year warranty. They will no longer honor the warranty. We will have to pay $100 to get the fan blade even though we have a warranty. This is unacceptable. We will no longer use Norris since they do not honor what they sold.

They said the problem was all of the trees roots getting to the pipes and breaking them. I had old clay pipes, so they replaced with PVC pipe.

I had called them to work on my old central heat and air unit. When the serviceman arrived, he checked the unit and told me I had some options. The cost to repair the old unit (which was about 20 years old) would cost around $1000.00 to repair. He informed me that he could not guarantee how long the unit would continue to work. Another option was replacing the unit. After discussing the options with my husband, we opted to replace the unit. The owner came out and measured our house for the appropriate size unit needed. He had also looked at the duct work and informed us the duct work was not the appropriate size. He gave us several options to chose from ranging from replacing just the unit to replacing the unit and duct work. We chose the option we felt was most appropriate for us. We have not regretted our decision at all. The installers were knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy. Within a week, we had new central heat and air unit including appropriate size new duct work. As promised the unit has resulted in a decrease in my electrical bill this summer so far. I would highly recommend this company for any repairs or replacement needed on a central heat and air unit.
