I had been recommended by an agency that deals with ageing issues so I called and talked to them and I really liked the ladies that come out to meet my mom. They have been wonderful. They are very thorough, very professional. Their ladies are trained very well. They check in and log their time. They have time sheets where they indicate exactly what they have done that day. If I have an issue or a question I call the office at anytime. It’s just a great peace of mind to have someone checking on an elderly person particularly in the same city. They take in my mother to the doctor. They go grocery shopping for her or run to the store and pick up cosmetics or they can go to the bank and cash a check. I haven’t had to rely on friends and relatives; I don’t feel like I am imposing on my friends to do those sorts of things. They are very reasonably priced, they charge by the hour. We had used some home healthcare services in the past and I was not happy with it at all. It was for like physical therapy and taking my mother’s blood pressure and stuff like that and I did not find them very responsive and they were very expensive. I stopped using them because I was not happy with them.
