They said if they could find the part, the repair would be around $600.00 Sears ain't what it used to be. I bought the oven from Sears.

They were supposed to be there between 8 and 12 so I waited home all morning. They were late. I knew there was a diagnostic fee. He went to get a part and said it would be $210. That should have been a red flag. I should have realized I could get a new washer for not a whole lot more than that! So that was about 7 hours out of my day for this. When he left I went upstairs to wash clothes and it was doing the SAME thing. Plus I'm not real sure they serviced the dryer. It had lint on the filter still. I called and they sent the expert the next day. He was there a few hours. He ended up saying it was misdiagnosed and I got a refund of all the washer repair except the diagnostic fee. And said that it needed 3 more parts which would come to around $600! of course he wasn't recommending doing that. but still. If they would have refunded my diagnostic fee after all that headache I wouldn't be so angry. I've always used sears for my appliances, but NEVER again.

They did not fix my problem - I had 6 repair appointments - they cancelled 2 because someone called in sick - came out 4 times and it was never fixed. I paid for a new ice maker that never worked and then my entire refrigerator went out and I had to buy a knew one. I needed to know what to do about getting my money back and for the ice maker - the refrigerator no longer worked and was being hauled away. I could not get anyone to understand the issue when I called. I paid $269 for an ice maker that never worked. The service guys were nice enough but not very knowledgeable - they replaced the ice maker 2 or 3 times and it never worked. The problem is trying to get someone on the phone that can help, or get you to someone that can help. They outsourced their customer service to overseas and you cannot get anyone that can help. I tried emailing - that did not help either. I had 2 cases supposedly opened - no call back, nothing resolved. I complained on their facebook page - the guy said him private messaged me. He did not. I never rec'd anything from them. Its useless. I'm out $269 for an ice maker that never worked. Last dollar I will ever spend with Sears. EVER.

They did fine. They did what they were supposed to do. I’ve been using them for years. They did a good job. I’m happy with them. I would use them again. The price is reasonable. It’s probably within limits. They respond very quickly sometimes.

Sears ordered the parts to be sent to our house and then contacted us to set an appointment. They were timely and everything works great now. Our refrigerator is 12 years old and we were worried they'd tell us the parts were no longer available.

Not good. Before the tech arrived our freezer was working fine, by the time he left neither the refrigerator or freezer were working. It took Sears 5 days to come back out and attempt to complete the work they had already been paid to do. Of course at that point they said we need another new part that they had not previously said needed to be replaced. The net of it is - $1,200 and 3 weeks later and we still do not have a working refrigerator plus our freezer is now out which cost us $200 in food. Sears customer support was pathetic, horrendous, worthless, etc.

They came out on time, however on the agreement it said they were only going to charge $75. The service technician spent 10 minutes on the fix, did not replace ANY parts and charged me $150!!!! The price was astronomical and I was not satisfied. I considered calling the better business bureau to dispute my claim. Avoid Sears at all costs!
