ST FRANCIS VETERINARY CLINIC

I was concerned by the amount of build up on Joules, my border-collie's, teeth. My boyfriend called to schedule the appointment and we were able to get in that afternoon. All of the staff took the time to let Joules have a good sniff and get comfortable before examining him. They gave him a full check-up and ran his fecal and blood samples while we were there and all of my questions were answered thoroughly and patiently.
It turns out his teeth are fine, just some excess tartar build-up for such a young guy. The estimate for a complete dental cleaning seems reasonable and I plan to schedule the service after Independence Day.
It looks like my family will be going to Dr. Cabantac from now on.

I went here for my first time and LOVED this place. They didn't keep me waiting long, were friendly and answered all my questions. Even called me a couple days afterward to check up on my sick puppy! Which I've never gotten before :) I would recommend Dr. Stone and her staff to anyone!

Best experience with a vet that I've ever had!! I was impressed with the cleanliness of this clinic and the equipment they have. And I can only begin to describe the friendliness of the staff!
My min pin, Bella, was having ear issues. A friend that I've always trusted with advice for my pets worked here until she became a stay at home mom and has been telling me for years to go to them. I live in Cabot and didn't care to drive to Conway when I was content with my local vet. But a few months ago, I had a not so great experience where I usually go so this time, I decided to give St. Francis a try. I wish I had listened to her years ago! I have been to 4 different vets over the years and my usual experience was to place my dog on the exam table, hold her while the doc examines her as quickly as possible and when I bring up issues other than what I was originally there for, they would shrug it off and give me the shortest answer possible.
We were taken back to a room as soon as we checked in, didn't even have a chance to sit in the lobby! When the assistant, Andy, came in, he immediatly got to the floor and held out his hand, trying to lure Bella to him rather than ignoring her and talking to me about the issue. He waited until she was comfortable (as comfortable as my anxious pup could be) before we started the exam. Dr. Cabantac did the same thing. It was so awesome to see that they cared to take the time to my dog comfortable! I felt like they thoroughly examined her and found a solution to the problem and Dr. Cabantac listened to the other problems that she has been dealing with for 5 years. Bella has always been a scratcher but it was always shrugged off as dry skin and I've never been offered a solution besides moisturizing shampoo (which I have always used and it never helped). He asked me a lot of questions and determined that she has food allergies and explained to me how he came to that conclusion. His solution, rather than telling me we have to do a $300 allergy test, was to change her food and put her on a diet and see if in a few months, the problem gets better. Then we can go from there. My previous vet was always quick to worry me into spending extra money on tests that were not needed.
I absolutely recommend this clinic to anyone in central Arkansas!

The experience has been very good. I like everything about them. They are a good vet. They are very good with animals and the vet was very loving with the pets.

Got some meds for her and she seems to be fine.
