When I took my 1995 Ford Escort in to Wal-Mart to have a new tire mounted on it. I also had them test my battery, and found out that it was not reading with a high of enough charge as it was supposed to. I have had tires on my car from Wal-Mart before. I thought it was pretty nice of them to check my battery for free. The only problem I have is that I did not have any kind of oil leak. I sure don't think they had anything to do with it, but I had an oil leak the next day after it took it to Wal-mart. I called them, but they said they don't fix that sort of thing.
