Atlas Painting Company

We hired Isaiah Billings with Atlas painting for a large exterior project to our home. He was eager to give an estimate, scheduled a timely interview and showed up on time for what he said would be a one week jobâ ¦. But finished in 3 days. Isaiah is 22 and came with 2 younger helpers. They were all professional and did a very good job with all the replacement wood on the sides and overhangs on the home. They did a good job painting the home. They did get a little paint on the front/back porch, the brick, a spot on the roof, one window and painted one window shut. After he collected the final payment from my 84 yr old mother and left I reached out to let him know he painted one window shut and it was high up and I needed help to open it. His response was he said there was no way they painted the window shut but he would come by to help open the windowâ ¦.. he never came back. I wouldnâ  t say never hire him, because he can do good workâ ¦. I would say DO NOT give him the last check until you inspect the work you expected to have done.

Terrible job done in a hurry. They slapped up a single coat of paint with absolutely zero prep. Quote was for rooms and trim and then they told me they will at did not include the window trim. They charged me $150 PER WINDOW and did the worst job I had ever seen. They used the wrong type of paint on the floor (was supposed to be oil paint, they used latex). They took down shelves in a closet to paint & did not put them back. I had to hire someone to redo all the work. When they finished on day two (what should have been at least 5 days work if it has had been done right) they left without saying a word so I know they realized what a sloppy and low quality job theyd done. Would never recommend this company.
