I'm not one who writes a lot of reviews but really felt compelled to write you in this instance. I would never used Tim's Automotive before this instance and would not have heard of them without the prior reviews. My sports car was sitting in the garage all winter and would not start even with me trying to jump my car via generator or my other car. The battery was only a yr old and I didn't think that the issue was with that. After they came to my home and towed the car away, after a "battery" of tests, it was determined to be a faulty battery and the battery was replaced. I was impressed with the level of professionalism. They even sent someone to my home to pick me up as I didn't have a way to get to the shop to pick up my car without taking a taxi. I was also happy to save $50 for being a Angies List member. If I ever have another issue with my vehicles, I will certainly not hesitate in calling Tim's.

Very nice and professional people who do not seem to overcharge for services and so far seem to fix things right the first time. We will definitely be going back for maintenance in the future.

Had a oil change done and they installed the wrong oil filter which came off and ruined the engine. The insurance comp-any for the oil change people paid for a rebuilt engine which tim's automotive installed. Tim's not only installed the engine, but did it for exactly what they originally ;said it would cost.

Very good people to deal with. Excellent service. It took a little longer than first estimated due to a family emergency of the tech w orking on my truck. However they did a great job, and the truck is running like new. I highly recommend

They are a great company. They offered an Angie's List coupon. I just referred a friend and he used the coupon. They are good folks.

Tim and his entire crew were very detailed in their explanation of the numerous problems with my truck, and were thorough in their repairs. In the future I will be asking Tim to "look over" any vehicle that I plan to purchase.

Went very well. On previous visits with Tim with the car, Rob mentioned that the work was needed and gave me quote. I put him off a few times and then scheduled when it was best for me. Work was done on time and on quote. I have used Tim's for the better part of 10 years and have always had good service. Rob is always upfront with cost and options and always stands by the work.

my engine was bad because a unamed company had installed the wrong oil filter. The filter came off dumping all the oil and ruining the en gine. Tim's automotive replaced replaced the bad engine with a rebuilt! They did a super job and I am completely happy.

I complemented the mechanic at Tim's Automotive & Towing and told him I would give him a positive report on Angie's List. I was pleased with what he did. My truck had died on the interstate and I had it towed to Tim's. I could not pay for the repairs right away and they were pretty tolerant about the payment situation. They kept the truck until I could pay for the repairs, which was in about three weeks. They didn't charge me any storage. They're very professional and honest.

There was a insurance claim involved so it took longer Than originally planned!

Got them on the phone immediately - tow truck arrived within 20-25 minutes. Very courteous, very professional. Definitely will call again.

They kept the vehicle replaced a brand new master cylinder (they were surprsed when told it was new) That's how air got into the barke system in the first place. They were still (of course) unable to bleed the brakes (without the proper equipment. My daughter, unknown to me, drove the vehicle home with almost no brakes. I finally using a method to "trick" the antilock sysytem was able to bleed the brakes using information obtained on the internet. Not only did they lie about being able to bleed the brakes they installed unnecessary equipment at exhorbitant prices. Then, they put my daughter into an obviously dangerous vehicle to drive home. I recommend DO NOT USE these people.
