He's excellent. Quality was an A. We dropped the car off and ran some errands and it was done when we got back. You do need an appointment with him as he is very busy. They did review the services completed with us.

He's great. We use them for our cars and trucks. I still use him today. He does a good job for a fair price.

Very busy place. Not much parking space for the amount of business they have. Had to wait but did not mind it much. Out of coffee on a cold day! Very thorough work though. They replaced my tires and replaced the original nitrogen suplied when car was new. I overheard technicians which seemed very knowledgeable on their jobs. Seemed honest and trustworthy I would highly recommend

I took my car to a local dealer to have my oil changed, and they called to inform me that they had looked at my brakes and the hardware kits on both the front and back brakes were missing. The brakes themselves were ok, but the hardware had somehow been removed. They gave me a quote to repair, which was a little expensive. I told them to just change the oil and I would get a 2nd opinion before I spent that much money. I called around and found Kevin at Norm the Tire Man. They are located close to my office. He was very knowledgeable on the phone and checked prices for me but told me he would want to see the car first because that is an unusual thing to happen. There had to be some explanation if that kind of hardware was missing. I dropped in first thing in the morning and had to wait a little bit - which I expected. They took my car back and inspected it thoroughly. Kevin came back to report that there was no anything wrong with my brakes - or the hardware. Everything was there that was supposed to be there and the brakes were functioning properly. I did not need the replacement the dealer called me about.
Kevin had quoted me a price (if I had to get the work done) and it was less than the other place. I was just thankful that they were honest with me and I did not have to be out of pocket several hundred dollars for an unnecessary repair. I will keep them in mind for future work.

Tire installation is on a first come first serve basis at Norm's. Follow up tire service is on a "we will get to you when we don't have any new tire customers" basis. Be prepared to wait four times the estimated wait time (2hrs vs. 30 mins), at least that's been my experience with Norms for both new tire install and rotate/balance.
Response from Norm The Tire Man
"Tire work in our shop is done on a "first come first serve" basis, with no preference given to new customers. In this case the service did take far longer than normal. Tech notes on the service order indicate the service was completed and then had to be reworked because the wheel weights were hitting on the brake caliper. Our tire technicians work very hard to keep of with the flow of customers but there are times when we get behind or when circumstances cause a service to take longer than planned. Our service writers should be giving the best information about wait times at the time of write up and then keeping the customer in the loop if anything goes wrong or if the service is taking longer than estimated. It appears that we failed to communicate effectively. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused to our customer and hope they will return for future and improved service."

I have taken my vehicle to Norm the Tire Man for almost 10 years now. Every time I drop the car off I am confident that the service will be done quickly, and with out issue. The staff is friendly and will sit down with you to discuss repair needs. I had to order parts for my car one time and they took me behind the computer to show me every detail that was needed and explained the importance of each part.

I was satisfied with all services except the price for new tires. It is possible that on a different size or brand of tire they would have offered a better price. The tires priced were for an SUV.

I had new brakes put on by Norms less than a year ago. While I was in their shop for tire rotation they said the rear brakes were bad. I explained they had put new brakes on less than a year ago and they should not go bad that quickly. He agreed and replaced the brakes free of charge. He also offered to fix some scratches that had put on the truck during a prior visit. I was very satisfied and will continue to have them take car of my car.
Response from Norm The Tire Man
"We are glad that you gave us an opportunity to serve you again despite a less than positive review on a prior post. We do stand behind our work and if we make a mistake we will always do our best to get it taken care of. We certainly appreciate your continued patronage."

Th work they did was done well enough. I did feel they overcharge.
3eHowever my biggest complaint was on two separate occasion they scratched my car. I thought after the first time surely it wouldn't happen again. In the same place. They weren't about to fix the damage.
Don't take a nice car in there.
The other thing that happened was they told me I needed new battery cables. I told them I would get them next time. The next time I went in they busy so they declared I didn't need cables. It was then I felt they want to fix things that arent broken.
Overall I am not real happy with them.

Very pleased with helpfulness and overall service. One rear tire was damaged beyond repair. Upon their recommendation we decided to replace both rear tires due to Corvette specifications of matching tires. Current tire model was no longer available. The company did not try to sell a full set of tires when only two tires were necessary. They also suggested we keep the one good tire for possible short term back up

Norms is in a great location near WM HO. Easy to drop off and pick up. The folks that work there are very competent and have done extra stuff which made me feel confident in the fairness of price. My new cars go to dealer because they are covered, but my cars over 5 years old only go to Norms. They will take care of your needs.

Needed tire replacement on both of our vehicles. We priced tires online, then went to Norm's for a price comparison. They provided a competitive quote, and even price matched some portions of our other quote to gain our business. They had our tires delivered within 48 hours, and on our vehicle within another 24 hours. Very pleased with their pricing, professionalism and service.
