Benjamin arrived on time as promised and quickly and efficiently began work. His service was professional and timely. This is the third time I availed myself of his services and in all instances I was impressed with his expertise.

I spilled coffee on my laptop. I called Need a Geek? an hour later. Benjamin told me what to do while waiting for a service call (it was a holiday)... unplug the power cord and remove the battery. I also turned it upside down to drain. Two days later when he arrived to have a look, the only damage was to the keyboard, which is replaceable. Saved me a ton of money that would have been spent to replace my fairly new, rather expensive laptop, and needless to say, he saved my data which is largely irreplaceable.

This was my first experience with a computer service technician in my home. Benjamin was very professional and clearly knew what to do. He charges by the hour and didn't dawdle at all. In fact, his charges are very reasonable. He did a thorough job of checking the laptop, showing me the damage, and recommending a couple of options. He made sure my laptop was usable (via a USB keyboard) while waiting for the replacement keyboard to arrive. I'm back in business. He earned the right to be my go-to guy for anything computer related. I highly recommend him.
