Action Tree Service

Spring of 2011 we had lots of trees and large branches come down on our Bella Vista property from violent storms. I used Angie's List to find tree service companies in the area. Only a few of the businesses had reviews written on them. I called the ones with reviews first to get quotes, and the prices were way too high for my budget. After calling numerous others with no reviews, I decided to go with Action Tree Service because they had the most reasonably priced quote. The owner/manager of the business is Terry. He said he's been doing this for over 30 years--and it shows! He goes to every job site and works with his crew (he isn't just a guy behind a desk.) He makes sure it's done exactly right and in a timely manner. He's friendly, and has a grandfatherly quality to him. I estimated the job at about $500 because I needed his services twice (after 2 different storms) and I don't recall exactly what I paid each time. It might've been like $375 the first time, and $175 the second time. Most companies charge a minimum of $100 for stump grinding, he charges under that. He's great! I use his business everytime I need him. I gave him a "B" on professionalism only because he was a little hard for me to understand over the phone with his country accent.job
