Started out ok but ended up a mess. All the work except the driveway have all been completed. Estimated time for completion was two months at the most. It took 6 months. As you can imagine this was very frustrating for many reasons. The biggest is all the extra interest we had to pay on the construction loan. We had to keep paying this until the loans where combined. We also had three kids cramped in one bedroom because we couldn't move to the new spaces until it was all complete. Scott (builder) has HORRIBLE social skills. Has no idea how to talk and/or communicate with his customers and subcontractors. He also has MAJOR anger issues which makes his already horrible social skills even worst. His time management skills are very bad. He has no clue how to manage a project. He constantly lies. He says he's going to show up and never does. Has an excuse for everything. Ne never owns up to all the mess' he creates. Every subcontractor we spoke too had nothing at all positive to say about him except he's consistently a screw up. I would in no way shape or form recommend his services to anyone. I'm still trying to figure out how he keeps a business running. The worst thing about the whole thing is his mother and father is my neighbor (which we still have a good relationship with). So it was very difficult to be nice during this whole expansion process. Id definitely recommend people to NOT have anyone related to your neighbor doing any significant work for you.
