Cole Plumbing

I called on a Saturday, thinking no way a plumber would be available or it would cost a fortune, but I was desperate to have a functioning kitchen sink again. He said he'd be there in an hour, and quoted me $125 plus parts. Once he arrived he got to work and was able to use the parts I had on hand, except for one. He had to make a Lowe's trip to buy a part and still, in the end only charged me $125.

We had just purchased a house that had a number of plumbing issues. We talked with 4 plumbing companies and requested estimates from each of them. We decided to go with James Cole of Cole plumbing who was rated as a Master Plumber. The first job that James tackled was the replacement of the waste water drain pipe in the crawl space. He next moved to replacing the gas hot water heater in the attic, and extending the over pressure drain line from the crawl space to the exterior of the house. We had purchased a kitchen sink, disposal, faucet, and 2 sink tops for the master bath wih associated faucets. James installed the kitchen sink, faucets and disposal and then moved on to removing the two master bath counter tops and sinks. We had spoken at the start of the job and James recommended that if we would like to buy the remaining items that we had not already purchased that he would order them from his wholesale supplier, we could then pay for them, and he would then pick them up and deliver to our job site. We did this and it saved us considerable money as we purchased the gas water heater and 3 toilets at a considerable savings.. James installed two new counter tops, sinks and faucets in the master bath. He next moved on to removing 3 existing toilets and replacing them with new ones we had purchased from his wholesale supplier. He next removed a pipe end cap on the clothes dryer gas line and installed a manual shut off valve. He then removed the existing faucets in the other 2 bath rooms and installed new ones. For all of this work I happily paid him $1538. Approximately 3 weeks after we moved in the toilets backed up. We called James and he immediately came over and diagnosed the problem as a clogged main drain line. He recommended that we hire someone less qualified than himself to come out and rotor root out the line as that would cost us less. He recommended his cousin which we accepted. James called his cousin and arranged for him to come out late that afternoon. James charged us nothing for this service call. His cousin arrived as scheduled on time, spent an hour and a half working on the drain line and charged us a total of $105 to rotor root the drain line all the way to the street. In my opinion James Cole, as well as his cousin, does outstanding work at extremely reasonable rates. I would recommend him for any type of plumbing work that may be needed.
