I have a degree in construction and am a retired engineer and contractor.. I have never seen a more complete and accurate report. I could find nothing that was left out of the report. I would never consider using anyone else for home inspection again.

Excellent - very thorough

John is incredibly thorough, he looked over every area of the homes. He will not candy coat things for the realtors benefit, period. If there is a problem big or small you will know about it. His written reports are highly professional, he takes pictures of everything he finds and these pictures are included in the report with write explanation. I highly recommend Trusted Home Inspection, he is on your side not the realtor. Don't be fooled by an inspector your realtor recommends go with Trusted Home Inspection. After 3 different homes John earned an A+ every time.

John is very Thorough. Dont expect him to answer many of your questions. He will only tell you what is not right with your home. He will not offer solutions on how to remedy the situation. He will record your entire conversation.

I was very disappointed that he would not answer specific questions I had about the home.  He used terminology like its "not my job" to answer  these questions. "He didnt want to be held "liable". I will be choosing someone else that is more customer friendly.

I was impressed with John's responsiveness from the start.  He called a couple of hours after I requested for an inspection on his website and scheduled the appointment.  When I arrived at the appointment time, he was already there and already started the inspection.  He took his time to answer any questions and concerns I had.  He really thoroughly inspected the house for 3 hours.  He took the 4th hour to go over the report with me and to answer more questions.  His report was quite extensive.  You would want to make sure to ask him about each item as you go through the report because it's very easy to look at the report later and get overwhelmed.  Asking him right then would allow you to figure out  or at least have a feeling which problems could be a deal breaker. You can't really tell from the report since almost every item has suggestion as follow "We recommend a licensed and bonded general contractor to inspect...".  Out of the 86 pages of report I received, about 2 items would end up being very costly.  
I would definitely hire John again when I'm ready to buy again.

John completed an inspection, that I felt he was doing as if his family was moving into the home!  Report was completed on site and I received th report the next day.  Very satisfied with his work.

I was on a very tight timeframe to get a home inspection on a potential home purchase, so I immediately turned to Angie's List.  I chose Trusted Home Inspections and explained my situation to Mr. Williams.  He was able to meet my deadline, was punctual and business-oriented on the day of inspection.  He explained the whole process of his home inspection, was extremely thorough and asked if I had any questions throughout each step of the inspection.  I am so grateful for his expertise, which was referenced by the appropriate building/electrical codes.  Ultimately, it was my decision to pursue further inspections warranted by specific field professionals.  The report had all the pictures and descriptions of potential issues and was available within 2-3 hours after his home inspection was complete.  I can't thank Trusted Home Inspections and Mr. Williams enough for being so meticulous with his findings.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

I am very pleased with the inspection John did. The house is 4 years old and I wasn't really expecting to see many reasons for concern. Other reviews stated he's very thorough and that's exactly what he was. I am a first time home buyer and don't know a lot of things about homes. He talked me through everything he found. (Kind of made me want to toss my cookies). Every inch of the house, including the roof was inspected. He takes pictures and adds them to his report. I had the report within an hour after completion. The only suggestion that I would have for his services is to perhaps give blanket type of estimates in what one might pay for some of the repairs. Understand that different contractors charge different things, but it might take off some of the pressure of trying to figure this out while trying to renegotiate with the sellers. (Have heard that some other inspectors do this.). Very prompt on getting me an appointment in a timely manner as well.

They were punctual and very thorough. He took 3-4 hours inspecting the house and he did not rush through it. He recommended a structural engineer who could do the work. He was friendly and very responsive.

John and Paul did a thorough job. It is obvious how conscientious and knowledgeable they are about their profession. They were engaged with us through the whole process, making sure that we had an opportunity to ask questions. Since this is my first time buying a home, I appreciated the care and the time they took to do a good job for their customers. This is an older home and John was able to discern what was related to the age of the house versus what was a problem that needed to be fixed. They completed the report on-site and reviewed it with us right then. I really liked the accessibility of the report: the report is available online, which makes it easy to view and share with our realtor and others. Overall, I was really pleased with the services, the cost, and the professionalism of the inspectors.

Excellent.  Inspection with engineer present.  This is the second time this inspector has saved me from buying a house with some serious problems.  Prompt, polite, very detailed and accurate reporting.

Great Service! They are a little more pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Comprehensive - yet deferred a lot of findings for third party inspection. Failed to point out cracks in kitchen floor tile and gaps in crown molding which could indicate foundation problems.

John was "Johnny on the spot" for us!  Our real estate contract only gave us ten days for inspections, and already knowing there were things wrong with the home, we knew we needed a home inspection right away.
John was at our home virtually the next day!  Plus we received the full inspection report the SAME DAY as the inspection.  Very nice.
This gave us enough time to hire more contractors to perform deeper inspections on areas that john pointed out as needing more investigation, before the deadline of our real estate contract.
