Description of Work: Leland Lavender/ Owner....Used him in the past for a small job...was impressed with quality, even though he never came back to check on workmanship after job was complete. Wanted the same quality job for my new property and acreage, (2 acre privacy fence/wood/cap and trim). This was a 12 thousand dollar job, and started ok...but then went downhill rapidly, after I fronted him half of the cost up front, (6K). Didn't use entire crew to get my job done in a timely manner, (would send workers on OTHER jobs...cheaper ones), made BIG ruts in my back yard, (1 foot deep..at least), by letting his workers drive trucks on my property to unload lumber because not enough workers, and ABANDONED my job ENTIRELY for 2 days, (great for fencing...beautiful weather), with not a word, nor an explanation as to WHY! He LIED to my wife regarding delays, (I told him to his face...nothing here I wouldn't or haven't said to him...personally), and to this day, I haven't gotten him on the phone even once, (always lets it go to his voice mail...then, maybe calls back IF he hasn't taken money from you yet), since completion, which was a week or so AFTER reasonable date of completion. Tried to contact him regarding one side of gate which is of trailer-park quality, and lists to the inside of my yard badly, (will have to have repaired), and after not calling me back...sent worker, (foreman), to look at gate...foreman PROMISED me to have it done by that Friday, (this was on a Tuesday...LAST WEEK). Haven't heard squat since then!!....DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! FIRST NIGHTMARE CONTRACTOR I'VE HAD WITH MY NEW HOUSE,,,MEMORIES WILL LAST!
