South Arkansas Veterinary Hospital

This vet's office takes care of all my personal animals and all of the shelter animals for the shelter that I run.  They are wonderful doctors with an incredible staff, and all of them truly love and care about every patient they see.  I am there very often, but will give one prime example just this past week.  We have a little Boston Terrier mix at the shelter who was hit by a car, and the dog's owner never even took him to the vet. After seizing the dog, Little Mo, I took him in and they did an x-ray, and found out he had a badly broken femur, that had tried to heal, but did not heal correctly causing the dog a great deal of pain and discomfort as he would/could not even use the leg.  Dr. Rucker worked his magic and re-broke the bone to set it correctly, using a pin.  It has been over a month and Mo, just had the pin removed and is showing signs that he will be fine in due time.  I am so impressed with the compassion and caring this animal hospital gives every animal that they work on, and that can range all the way from a small pet to a horse...they even have an equine specialist!  I recommend South Arkansas Veterinary Hospital to everyone I meet and will continue to do so as they truly are the very best at what they do!

The nurses were so friendly! At my previous vet all my other dogs were immediately terrified when we got out of the car. Even just getting them on the scales to weigh them was a chore. But the nurses here got down on their hands and knees and played with him and got him on the scale, no problem. While he was in the exam room everybody came in to pet him and say hi. He even got a few treats while he was there. He wasn't too happy with the fecal exam or shot but it's for his own good. He was even licking the doctor on the face by time we were ready to go. Oh! The the prices were very reasonable! He had office visit, fecal exam, puppy booster shot, puppy worker, and a free trial of the heartworm preventative with flea preventative (which works great by the way!) We only paid $37! That's half the price of most places i checked

Every time we have visited they have been prompt in seeing our animals. They take their time to listen to you. i have never felt rushed out the door. Any questions I have had have been answered to my satisfaction.

Dr. Waymack is very good at what he does and his price is very reasonable.  Everyone at the clinic has been very helpful and treat our animals with respect.
