Their service was inadequate and they were very rude when I told them we weren’t happy with all the dropped calls we were getting. They even took away our phone line for a while, we couldn’t dial out other than for 911. Luckily, I had a cell phone in case of emergencies.
Description of Work: I originally got the television service, but that soon turned into the telephone and computer service bundle added on.

It is way to high, slow in response but we are limited on who we can use so they take advantage of that. We do have access to satellite companies but we stay away from them because of their contracts but I am not sure if I will keep using them.
Description of Work: I use Bright House Networks for my internet, phone and cable bundle package.

What started out as a positive experience soon proved to be highly frustrating. Prior to choosing Bright House, I called a couple of times and asked preliminary questions. Responses from the sales folks and the customer service folks "at corporate" (as they described themselves) were informative and presumably accurate. The day I called to set up service, I spoke with an intelligent young lady in sales, who was able to accurately reiterate my order before we finished the call. Installation appt. was set for two days later. I realized the next day that I had forgotten to include one of the activations (miscounted rooms), so I called back but ended up speaking with a technician as "the sales office was closed." This technician had to have been high or mentally impaired. Couldn't answer simple questions, and put me on hold 3 times for about 8 minutes a piece to get no conclusive answer to whether or not they could activate an already installed outlet. I called back 20 minutes later & spoke with another tech who was fortunately alert & relatively intelligent. UNFORTUNATELY, she advised that all they had on the work order was installation of one outlet only - - no other activations, no phone, no internet!!! We sat for another 25 minutes reentering the order, which she repeated to me twice before we hung up. She advised there was NO WAY to complete the installation on the scheduled date, so they pushed me back one day. Presuming her to be accurate, I went out on the evening of the previously scheduled appointment. Next day, installation tech showed up and noted that I had MISSED MY APPOINTMENT THE DAY BEFORE! He was very polite and sympathetic about it after I related what I'd been thru. He advised, however, that they STILL had my order wrong. So, Bright House Networks - - the people behind the phones who you can't reach out & touch - - were inaccurate and not invested in getting things right. The Installation Tech., a contractor, was polite, helpful, and did everything he could to resolve my problems & meet my needs. Installer was great, but they gave me a used DVR (still had someone else's programming on it) that now (2 weeks in) is not working as a DVR anymore! Phone tech support was no help! I have to carry the DVR in to swap it out. Tread cautiously when considering Bright House Networks!!
Description of Work: Bright House Networks is a combined digital cable, telephone & internet provider. New to the area, we decided to use their services because we could not get AT&T DSL, and we wanted a cheaper alternative to DishNetwork. Installation was for land-line telephone, cable installation for one room, activation of cable outlets for other rooms, and installation/activation of cable internet access.
