Scottie Wells Construction

I got this contractors name here on Angie's list and thought he would be good. Everything started out ok...He was very nice..My sister was still in FL and I was taking care of a very sick husband and 2 other sick relatives and working full time. After all the work was done and we moved in we started having problems with things that were supposed to be fixed, like the roof in the Jacuzzi room and guttering that was supposed to be fixed and now plumbing issues that we are having to deal with. We are in the process of getting a new dishwasher put in (since the one he put in has been causing problems for a while and finally went out) and have been told the one that Mr Wells and his company put in was done improper. All of the plumbing underneath the kitchen sink is going to have to be replaced and put in properly. We have big holes we have found inside the kitchen cabinets that were never plugged and we now have mice coming in. We called him out twice to re do things especially the roof and it has never been repaired properly and he promised over a year ago he would come out and handle..Never heard from him again. We paid him over $42,000 and now we are having to correct the problems he caused. I would not recommend this contractor. His response to my sister when asked if this is how he did business was you should have been here inspecting the work. No Mr Wells you should have completed the work properly and corrected the things we brought to your attention..Shame on you for having no professionalism about your work.

When we bought it all of the AC, lighting fixtures and more had been taken out. He came in and helped us renovate the house. They did a great job and any issues were handled immediately.
