They overall did a good job of raising an organic cow that was all grass fed and took the animal to a local butcher for processing.  We are very grateful that we were able to find someone in our state that does this because it is very hard to find locally.  The meat is good but needs some improving on flavor and tenderness.  The roasts are good in the crock pot.  We were very disappointed that the butcher discarded most of the grass fed beef bones by accident.  He humbly apologized and wants to make it up to us but can't until spring.  Now we have to purchase organic grass fed beef bones from another farmer to last us through the winter which hurts on the money we were trying to save by getting a whole cow.  On the plus side, their grass fed beef is good quality nutrition for the family.
