When they sell it to you, everything is wonderful, they don't do this and they don't do that and they don't do this and they don't do that. If someone is looking to buy a vehicle, I would tell them to make sure they had everything in writing. If they promise you're going to get twice a year detailing, they need to write it down for you and sign it. When they're selling it to you everything is rosy, when you've got a problem things are not like everything else. Once they sell it to you, you're history. They turn you over to somebody else to deal with the issues.

I took it to get it detailed because they told me when I bought it, just like the previous vehicle that I would get twice a year detailing. I had a 2011, they detailed it twice a year. I bought a 2014, they had been detailing that until last spring, which would have been about April of 16. When I called to get it detailed they said, "We don't do that any more." My salesman said, "We stopped that in 2013." I didn't even think at the time but I thought, "How could you have stopped that in 2013, when I've had it done to my 2014 every six months?" He lied. He said, "Oh well you get a birthday detailing." I said, "What birthday detailing?" "Well, didn't you get a card?" I said, "No, I didn't," He was like, "I know you did, I know you did, I know you got a card." I said, "No, I didn't." So when I called him about scheduling this one, I said, "Oh Fernando, that is right, my birthday is next Friday and I have not gotten my birthday card and I would think if a dealership was going to send me a birthday card for a detailing, they would send it to me a little bit ahead of my birthday. But, I haven't seen the card." So he had the service manager call me. Ray called me and he said, "I'm looking at your records. Your records say, 'Twice a year and birthday detailing.'" He said, "Who told you we stopped doing this? I don't remember it." I said, "Fernando."  He said, "From now on, when you bring this car in, you bring this car to me." I've gotten today, emails from some other dude at Myrtle Beach Cadillac telling me I needed to bring my car in for service and I just emailed him back and said, "I just had it in there a couple of weeks ago, I've just got my report, it says, 'Nothing needs to be taken care of.'" It's a 2014 and I've had the oil changed in it one time, you don't change the oil every six months. It's based on percentage and you don't change the oil until it gets to 20%, I'm at 40. So again, Fernando came down to my garage and had me flipping all those buttons and I didn't think about it at the time, I thought I have an OnStar F on my phone and I get a report every month. All I have to do is look at that F and it will tell me exactly what my oil percentage is. "You need to change your oil." I said," sure you do". So I went down and at that time I was 53%. So I said, "Okay, now what do I do. They said do not change the oil.  So when I talked to Ray, Ray said, "No, you do not change the oil until it gets to 20%." So he just said, "Don't deal with anybody but me." It didn't cost me anything. I've had this car four years in April. It has got 21,000 miles on it. I've got two years of warranty and two years of life time maintenance. All I do is put gas in the car, they do everything else.
