Lupe taped the glass on the door and side panels, He then removed all the loose varnish, and prepared the wood by light sanding. The storm door was custom made of mahogany wood and did not absolutely match the original side panels. Lupe brought color samples to the job site and consulted with me on a color to bring the door system together. He stained the whole door system on 18 July and then returned early on 19 July to paint the door system with sealer. The finished product looks great - color matches much better across the whole door system.
