I liked everything about this company. The prices were right. They showed up on time with all of the equipment needed. They got to work done quickly and cleanly. I would definitely hire them again.

Owner gave estimate and was professional from begining to end. Gave estimate and was willing to meet at off hours to accomodate my schedule to give the estimate. Estimate was best I got. Work needed to be done in back yard to remove tall trees. Some of the trees were leaning over the house or were dying in the tops and too close to the house or crouding other healthy trees. There was not a lot of maneuvering space and there was a slight slope from the house to deal with. Originally they said they would climb the trees to cut them. On second meeting I was asked if they could bring in a bucket truck. He said he could squeeze it into the back yard since there was no frence and said it would not hurt the grass. I said OK if it would not damage anything. He said he was backed up on work about three weeks and would call when he could do the work. He called in about three weeks and showed up when he said he would. He had full set of equipment (bucket truck, big chipper, bobcat, stumpgrinder and two helpers). I was concerned and a little surprised at the equipment he took into the back yard through a small side yard. The bucket truck did fit, but it did some damage to the grass and neighbors yard. The bobcat was used to haul out the logs which was understandable since to haul them out by hand or wheelbarrow would have been a lot of work as these were tall trees with good size trunks. However, the bobcat ran tracks in the grass and did some damage to the neighbors grass which I will need to fix up. He actully did an impressive job taking down the trees as he had to maneuver in a tight space and avoid some trees I wanted to keep. Though the bucket truck in the back yard had some small disadvantages, I am actually glad he used it as I think it made the overall job safer, MUCH faster and more precise (that is less risk to damaging the house). Of note, another estimator who was higher, said he could not get his bucket truck in the back yard. In the end, he took the trees down, dropped parts exactly where he said he would, and didin't damage the roof or the house. He did a good job grinding the stumps and cleaning up. While I didn't have much grass in the area he worked in to begin with, after all the vehicles and falling logs, what grass was there is gone, but that is probably unavoidable. He did a fair job leveling where he ground the stumps, I will have to finish up leveling with a rake. I am overall pleased with his work. If I have to remove others trees I will call him again. Initally I was concerned about the quality of the work since his estimate was much better than others, but in the end, I don't see how someone else could have done much better. I think he is really good value. (note: I only marked down professionalism on score because of initial pledge not to damage lawn -- probably not avoidable in retrospect, but would have liked expectations set more upfront)
