Clint Miller Construction

This person was introduced by a friend who stated he would give us a good deal. I shopped a round a little to get an idea if the labor cost was par and it was. So we thought we'll at least get better quality. Right away Clint Miller made demands to do ot on his time which meant coming in at all hours of the night. Since we were in a little rush we agreed. After the job was completed we found all kinds of mistakes such as paint on the ceiling, entry ways, baseboards, and hard wood floors. The only mistake they attempted to correct was the paint on the ceiling which became worse by using bright white paint. The oddest thing was the fight to get a listing of the expenses and a receipt for services performed. At first he was going to bring it by and because of our mutual friend we thought this would be acceptable. Almost three years later and he flat refuses to submit what he owes us. Recently I discovered why. I now have the invoices of the paint he purchased for the job along with supplies he never even used. We discovered that he purchased the wrong paint and had to reorder for the correct paint. He charged us about $1000.00 for paint and supplies. The invoices for the wrong paint and the correct paint added up to the amount he charged us. He tacked on the cost of the incorrect paint and then kept the paint. I have the invoices and an irrefutable first hand account of the dealing. Do not allow this person anywhere near a job you want done. He will not take responsibility for his mistakes but he will make you pay for it! It cost us about $500.00.
