We were first recommend to this vet from our neighbor during a hard time when we had just moved to the area and one of our cats had become very sick very fast and we needed a vet ASAP.  Were able to see the vet first thing in the morning and unfourtnely we had to put our baby to sleep.  However the expiernce was amazing how they let us stay with him to the very end so he wasn't alone.
During our second visit with our newly adopted kitten we met with the vet and she was given medicated eye drops for her infected eye and gave her a combo booster shot that was needed.  They were very good and quick.  The staff is always very nice and always happy to see us.  We are going to schedule to have our other 2 cats look at here in the  next month for their yearly check ups since the cost is reasonable and the care is great.

We have been taking our pets to Altoona Veterinary Hospital for about fourteen years and are very pleased with the service.  I like the fact that I can take my pets for routine vaccinations without making an appointment with the veterinarian.  I just call ahead to make sure I can bring them in that day.   The fee for office visits and vaccinations is very reasonable.  The staff is wonderful and we are confident that they will give our pets the best care they can.

I was very impressed after my first visit to this vet. He was compassionate towards my pet and much more accommodating and friendly than my previous vet - not to mention that his fees are about half of what my previous vet charges. My cat's bladder crystal removal surgery went incredibly well, and I can tell she's feeling MUCH better as a result of the surgery. I highly recommend them!
