University Downs Apartments

The business practices of this apartment complex are both unfair and unreasonable. Leases are granted only by the 12-month period regardless of how long you need the apartment. During the lease period, this company was extremely slow to respond to maintenance requests, and in some cases didn't fix the problem at all (broken windows). We moved out of this apartment and turned in the keys almost 3 months before the lease expired and turned off the utilities since no one would be in that apartment. Apartment management went back into the apartment and turned on all utilities for the summer, and then deducted the cost from our security deposit. It is unconscionable that they would cool this apartment at our expense all summer even though no one lived there. Cleaning fees were also unreasonable since we left that apartment in much better condition than we found it in. We recommend you look elsewhere for a place to live.month
