The guys worked well an fast but damaged my wall in my old home an damaged my piano but it was not to bad ! But they broke a 1100.00 lamp that was not even suppose to be moved ! At first I thought they took the lamp but after watching my dvr on my camera system I found they broke the lamp an took it an put it in a back closet under several comforters so I wouldn't know about it at the time ! That lamp belonged to my grandmother an my mother an they have both passed so the lamp was very important to me ! This is the worst service I have ever had from a company in my entire life ! Not only did they break an expensive family air-lome they were so dishonest about it ! I am so glade I stopped payment on my check an that still won't pay for all the damage they did to my property an my emotions !

Two dresser droors no longer open with ease. The wheels seem to get jammed on the track. The movers completely shattered a kitchen tile while moving the refrigerator and said there was nothing they could do to fix it and would not compensate in any way.

This was our second time using TMAAT, and we would definitely use them again. They're great: easy to schedule, punctual, super nice, very professional, and unbelievably efficient. Both times they got the truck loaded and unloaded in much less time than we anticipated. They took good care of our stuff; both times, NOTHING got damaged. We have enough experience with moving companies to know that that's not always the case.
TMAAT movers look, act and speak like professionals. If you've ever had movers who gave you the creeps --- bad attitude, nosiness, inappropriate comments --- you know how uncomfortable that can be. NOTHING about TMAAT's employees is creepy; they're nice and polite. They will also work with you to make your move happen. On the day of our recent move, the weather was awful --- cold, with intermittent thunderstorms. The movers explained that they weren't allowed to move stuff during thunderstorms, so they worked extra fast during breaks in the rain and waited patiently during the bad spots. We were worried that the weather would wreck our move, but they made sure it didn't.

Two Men & A Truck - Tuscaloosa's work were satisfactory. The price was reasonable. You can have them do what you want, if you want them to pack, they will pack and of course. Their cost and reputation made us go with them.

They took an extra day. They do not wrap the furniture like I thought it would happen like a plastic wrap. They came in late.

This was the second time we had used TM&AT. The first was two years ago when we move to Tuscaloosa. Then and now, we had friends help us move the majority of our boxes and small and medium furniture pieces. But both times, there were large and heavy items that I didn't want to ask my friends to risk themselves to move. This time, they showed up with *three* men and a truck and made quick work of everything. They had all 14 pieces loaded up in less than 40 minutes, and that included time spent padding and wrapping them all for transport. AND it was raining. These guys are pretty impressive and take their work seriously. They moved a couple of the largest pieces up a narrow, twisting staircase. Very happy with their work.
It was definitely worth the expense having professionals take care of the big heavy stuff. That said, I wish there weren't a two-hour (read: $200) minimum to get them to come out. I'd be more inclined to hire them for special moving projects if there were less expensive rates for smaller jobs. But that's a corporate issue, not specific to Tuscaloosa.
