Stephanie's Flowers

The flowers were due to be delivered to my home on Feb. 24, 2009. I was home all day but didn't receive flowers or a phone call until a neighbor came by that evening (past 7:30 pm.) with the flowers he had discovered outside his door. My address is clearly marked on my mailbox and curb and the address was correct on the card. That was the first error. The arrangement was fresh, but odd looking, all that appeared at the top of the vase were the buds - no stem - it looked sort of "smashed down" like a child did the arrangement. When I sent a digital photo of the arrangement to my friend, she was upset. The color was wrong (orange instead of pink) - the vase was different, and the flowers were different. She chose an arrangement off of Stephanie's website - and while sometimes substitions may need to be made - this arrangement wasn't even similar in color/ She emailed Stephanie's several times and received no response. I called Stephanie's twice and was told that the manager would return a call to either me or the person who sent the flowers. The woman I spoke with was defensive and non-apologetic. Neither my friend or I have heard back from Stephanie's.
