He abandoned the work at about 90-95% complete. I wouldn’t recommend anybody use this company. At the beginning of their work we were not living at the house so we could not monitor what was going on. We started to have a little more contact with them about 3 weeks before we were going to move back into the house. He did not come get us to let us pick out new fixtures for the house and he put up what he wanted. We ended up purchasing our own but were never reimbursed for the cost of what we purchased. He cheated me out of kitchen cabinets. At least $3000 was to be spent on the kitchen cabinets. He went to purchase them from a surplus store and did a terrible job putting them in. The knobs are all crooked and off centered. He broke a pipe in my backyard which cost me another $1300 to have repaired, broke a pool table that will cost more money to replace and even though he was responsible for all of our electrical work he charged me an additional fee to run the wire to the new air conditioning unit in my attic. He ruined both the front and back yard and I had to pay others to fix them. Our bathrooms, which hadn’t been damaged in the tornado, were ruined because they kept all of their painting supplies in them. He built the laundry room incorrectly and I couldn’t open the door to it until I stacked my washer and dryer and had to pay an electrician to move the outlet so I could use the room. He has not paid the subcontractors he was using for the work. I’ve tried to contact him quite a few times and did finally get in contact with him to give him an opportunity to finish the work, but had to have others come out to remove debris from the yard and I am now getting estimates to have the work that’s left finished.
