I have had lots of work done there, and have always been pleased with the quality of the work. The building is old, and the facility feels more like a shade-tree mechanic than a polished-up showroom. That really didn't bother me, and you can tell he's been doing this his whole life.
While he may not wear a uniform and is a really informal guy, he's very professional and honest. He's always been honest with me, and several times he could have done work and charged me for it, but helped me out by letting me know when it wouldn't really be worth the money to do something, or when he got in there and found out something really didn't need to be done. I've had some work come in over the estimate, but he always called to make sure it was okay. I've also had some work come in UNDER the estimate, if it turned out to be easier that he expected.
Right now I have a new vehicle that's under warranty. But especially if I need work done on an older vehicle, he's top of the list. for me.
