BATTERIES PLUS

I got ripped off. The replacement batteries were supposed to be better than the original, but they have never held a charge, and last for a much shorter amount of time than the original batteries that came with the drill.  i went back to the store. The sales clerk told me that the batteries were fine but my charger must be bad, and told me to get a new charger. I spent about $30+ dollars on a new charger, with no change in the performance of the batteries.  I went back to the store to get my money back. By this time, the one year warranty had expired. The owner was very obnoxious, and even though I had attempted to return the batteries within the warranty period on the first round, he refused to reimburse my money. I had to spend $150 on a new drill, so I am actually out about $300. I would not recommend this store, and will never go back there myself.  Let the buyer beware. The store owner is very abrupt, and has no business sense whatsoever. he thought the whole incident was funny.

Update 01/10/2013  The store owner responded that they offered to replace the defective batteries they sold me. No such offer was ever made.  The owner pretty much told me to get lost. They NEVER offered to replace the batteries, EVER!  Otherwise, I would have tried a new set, which may have satisfied me, but they never gave me that option.
