Furniture - Sales
We attempted to cancel a furniture order about an hour and a half after a family member paid for furniture at the store. We were informed that there would be a "restocking charge" of over $400 because the furniture was already in the process of being loaded (but the truck was still at the store).
The store was busy, and I am sure the cancellation would have been disruptive to their business. I am not disputing the store's right to impose the charge. I was just disappointed in the stores reaction to a customer who had made a mistake.
