I hired John Raines to fix my severe drainage issues in my back yard because he was quickly responsive professional and knew what to do to get to the root of the problem. He was on the ball, in touch and communicative, and made sure it was fixed right and accommodated all my preferences and concerns. I hired him again to sod my lawn and he did it beautifully, quickly, and for thousands less. He even did extra hard work no charge to please my neighbor! I’m very very cynical about contractor types but John is the exception that proves the rule. He is a genuinely good guy who is dedicated to not just doing it but doing it right and making 100% sure the client is pleased. Highly recommend. Will hire again.

Be flexible for dates because weather is a factor. The new french drain works very well, no more ponding. Regrading near the foundation seems to be helping dampness in the basement.

John was great. Arrived on time, gave the best bid and was able to start work right away. Its a large scale project in my side and back yard that he is letting me do in stages to accommodate my budget. He's leveling the yard, putting in a retaining wall, and correcting years of washout on my steep property. My sidewalk around the house was minutes from collapsing due to washout. Because I hired him for the full job, he is also doing a stump removal at no extra cost.
