TROY CABLE INC

Description of Work: I moved to the area recently. The previous residents had a small dog, so maybe it was never an issue.I subscribe to cable, for HBO, HD channels, and internet. The cable box is literally 2 feet off the ground mounted to the brick in the back of the house. I've called 3 seperate times requesting the box to be moved higher, or elsewhere, and to run the cables to deter my medium sized dog from playing tug o' war with the cables. Each time I was assured it would be resolved, and continue to be charged 35.00 a visit for them to run the cables exactly as they have been before. The first and second installers suggested hot sauce and vinegar to be put on the cables. Both of which wash off in the rain. The last guy was nice enough to tie-strap ALL of the cables together dangling from the bottom of the box four inches from the brick to ensure my dog could grab all of the cables at once. I have written complaints, called, etc... but to no avail, their service, prices, and lack of concern to resolve an obvious issue completely baffles me. Needless to say, I'm cancelling my cable service with TroyCable of Troy, Alabama and choosing DirectTV instead. More channels, options, discounts, and even my dish will be mounted out of reach of the dog. Having living in other towns and cities, I am absolutely appalled by the lack of quality in service received by this company! They obviously don't realize or care that there is competition out there! The only service I will retain is their internet solely because I am an online college student.
