CWG Construction

After getting an estimate that I was very pleased with, a date was set for the work to begin. The crew arrived early and got to work. Everything was going according to plan until I went into my kitchen and saw what they had done. I have a china cabinet against one wall and I noticed that the worker installing the trim had not bothered to move the cabinet, but instead had worked up to the cabinet and stopped, and then continued on the other side. In addition to this, they were to put the small base piece on the trim in the hallway to cover an imperfection in the floor. They did cover the imperfection, but that is the only part of the wall that they put the base piece. It looked riduculous and I couldn't believe they thought that was acceptable. Because of a needed part for the storm door which had to be ordered, they were to come back at a later date to finish. After 2 weeks had passed, I finally called to see when they were coming back. I left several messages for him and he never returned my call. I tried again a few days later and finally got in touch with him. He said that he would come that weekend to finish, however, the weekend came and went and he never showed up. I had to call him back, and he said that he was working out of town, and would come the next weekend. He finally showed up, and completed the work. I was not at all impressed with his seemingly complete lack of caring about the quality of his work. Even though his prices are quite nice, I'd rather pay more for quality work and professionalism.
