EXCELLENT JOB. They removed 3 huge trees, grinded the stumps down and trimmed another smaller tree. They were extremely polite and very professional. I interviewed 3 different companies and not only was Ultimate Tree Service the best estimate but also the best qualified for the job. The picture attached is proof that you never know - that tree was ready to fall on my house or car. They completed everything, cleaned up the yard, and never stopped working!! Great Crew.

He showed up over a month later leaving his workers on site. He did not do what he said he was going to do. I did not want 4 of the small trees down because I wanted to preserve them for the birds & other wildlife. But I did want 2 trees that we're overhanging my pool down. We renegotiated the price but not by very much. I continually asked if he could come before the day so that we could discuss this without pressure but he never seem to find the time. One afternoon we waited for him to come (as his wife said he would) but he never came. Why all these inconsistencies didn't clue me in I don't know. Except perhaps when I first met him initially to look at the situation & give me a price he came with his daughter & he seemed very likeable & honest. That was my first mistake ... we think people are as they seem & that they will do what they agree to do. But it is never okay in this world to accept a verbal agreement...always, always get a contract... a written signed agreement! His men cut literally a few limbs down that were overhanging the fence. Then they were ready to go. You can imagine my shock! I asked them to call Ray so I could speak to him. When I objected he told me he couldn't cut anything unless it was over hanging my yard side of the fence because it wasn't my property. Of course Ray did not have a survey!!!! This it seems was just an excuse to get on to more jobs & make more $$$ I had already assured him that it was my property that we had moved the fence closer in because a creek ran behind the property. His men tried to be accommodating & if it were not for them we would have paid nothing. They took down one tree & more limbs from one that still hangs over the fence & over the pool. But because they did not have the equipment & were going to throw the tree behind the fence we told them to leave it . We now have to hire someone else to come take it down. We are senior citizens & my husband is a veteran. I held off leaving a bad review & called his wife [she acts as secretary]. I left a vm saying that I did not want to leave a bad review could they please come finish the job or reimburse us some of the money so we could hire some one to finish the job. She said that she would return my call after their cruise. She did not. So 1 1/2 month's later I left another vm. I told her that I didn't want her daughter to ever read anything bad about her father on the internet. I don't know if they have other children this was the only one I met. She came when he came initially. But her..Amy's response was very, very far from professional... it was scathing, filled with much misinformation & sarcasm. She told me that her daughter wasn't here...how did she think I knew that she had a daughter? And that me saying that was disrespectful to her daughter....huh? She texted... go ahead put a bad review it's not going to affect our business at all .. then she added... LOL. I have a lot of respect for business persons who abide by their contracts & do a good job. We've had a lot of work done since we retired here over a year ago. This is a difficult place for people who have limited education to live. There are many jack-of-all-trades so to speak in this area agreeing to do whatever they can to make money even if they're not qualified. We have met & benefited from qualitified workermanship. It is a sad problem that they don't pay enough around here & I guess you have to do a lot of different things to make a living. But I have never before felt the need to leave such a bad review. "The original estimate given to Mrs. [Member Name Removed] was for trimming work only...never anything more. She stated to me, when she called back about a month later, that she had gotten other estimates, and would rather our company do the work, but needed for Ray to meet with her again to go back over the work we quoted...trimming. Yes she was told that he would get back by there, but with Ray being on MOST job sites on a regular basis, he was unable to do that and all of this was communicated with Mrs. [Member Name Removed] each time. When we showed up to do the work as scheduled with Mrs. [Member Name Removed]'s schedule, Ray, myself, and 2 of my crew members were all in the back yard as she and Ray discussed the TRIMMING we quoted originally. She agreed. We brought all of the equipment we could use on her job site...manlift and dump truck, because she planted grass in her back yard, giving a very small and limited work area because she didn't want the grass damaged..understandable, and so we accommodated that. Our daughter was there at the original estimate, but not the day the work was performed. Many of our customers have met our daughter, as we have a FAMILY business. But all of this is irrelevant to Mrs. [Member Name Removed]'s situation. She simply received several quotes, ours being one, but apparently mistakenly had them confused as to who she received a quote for different scopes of work. We never changed our scope of work, nor the price that was quoted to Mrs. [Member Name Removed]. Sorry she was not happy with the work we done for her, but I guess this is a lesson learned for everyone."

Ray and his crew arrived at time promised. They did a great job cleaning up our mature live oak trees improving their looks and longterm health. Four trees were removed and the stumps ground out. They did a very good job cleaning up the yard following the tree work. We had two 70-80' trees in the back yard to be taken down. They have equipment that allowed them to get through the small gate in our back yard and complete the job. We'd be happy to hire Ultimate again when we next need a tree service.

Good, They started before I got back to the house, so I really didn't get to watch the progress. They just needed to cut the limbs closer to the ring of the limb on the tree the next time is all. They did an excellent job overall, cleaned up after themselves and worked very quickly. I would not hesitate to bring them back again for future trimming. Great job on everything.

Their work is absolutely excellent. They show up when promised. They have all of the equipment to do a complete job. I have used them numerous times in the past and would not even think of calling anyone else. When they finish the job the area is left totally clean. Todays job was not easy and would not have been undertaken by most. You can have total confidence in their capability and skill. Their work is perfect. Two unfortunate incidents. Our appointment was the morning after a 14-hour rainstorm so portions of the yard took a beating from the equipment. And one of the large trucks cracked through the driveway. In fairness, the Colony Homes' concrete contractor failed to compact the soil underneath properly, didn't use the correct bag mix or pour the slab to the minimum thickness. (Illustrated by the massive cracks in other sections of the driveway, the garage and in the foundation where the flooring tiles are cracking along the same fault line.) The problem is that Mike Lewis, the concrete contractor who handles driveway issues for Ultimate, has been AWOL for several weeks by not coming to check the damage. That's frustrating. But as far as Ultimate Tree Service: everyone involved is incredible for the amount and quality of work performed. Their equipment is spectacular and new and it's clear that if someone is assigned to a particularly menacing truck or strange piece of machinery that they are expert at operating it. I say this from experience because I've paid twice as much for two trucks and a guy with a chainsaw who hoisted himself into each tree and commenced a five-hour stint chopping down one tree and hauling it away. The Ainsworth's crew arrive looking like a massive troop movement from the movie 'Patton'. And two hours later, everything is neat and tidy and the only things being hauled away are? four-foot wide stumps that wouldn't fit in the World's Largest Wood Chipper. Truly, it's worth the price of admission to see the Ultimate Tree Service choreography. Almost makes me wish we had more land and trees to clear.

It went very well from start to finish. I called over the weekend and the lady who answered was very professional and let me know that Ray would go to job site first part of week. Ray came out on Monday and looked it over and gave me a price with an explanation of services and looked me straight in the eye. I don't like some tradesmen that try to make something more that what it is and won't even look you in the eye. He came the next day and did just what he said he'd do. I couldn't have asked for a better job.

I cannot say enough good things about Amy, Ray and their crew.
From my first called to get an estimate until the job was completed they were friendly, profesional, on time and have a great work ethic. I expected the job to take a full day and they had it done in a little over a half a day. It was amazing to watch them work. Everyone knew exactly what to do. When they were there I asked them to remove some roots which had spread into the yard which they did.When they left everything was removed and except for the trees being gone you would never know they had been there. They had blown off the roof, sidewalk and driveway. They even asked if i wanted to keep the mulch amd spread it where I wanted it. I felt their price was very reasonable considering the size of the trees.
I plan to have them back in the future to clear underbrush from a vacant lot we own next door.
Amy and Ray know how to run a business and take care of their customers. I am sure they will be in business for many years to come.

Called Ultimate and Amy is the first person that you talk to. Pleasant and engaging. Ray is the owner who came by to give the estimate and tell you what he was going to do. He said depending on the weather, Amy would call to set up the day. They got a break with the weather and called next day to see if they could be here in about 30 minutes. As soon as Ray showed up with John and Mason they immediately went to work. One cutting branches, one moving branches and one raking. IT WAS NON-STOP. Was pretty amazed at the way they worked together. I do not think they said more than 10 words to each other before the job was done. Each person knew his job and went about doing it. Great work ethic. Well worth the money. Kind and courteous. Professional. On another note the Web site says to show 10% off coupon at time of estimate. I did not. Called Amy and she informed me to just give it to Ray when they come back to do the job. Not a hint of apprehension on her part.

I referred them to my father. They brushed around the tree. They expressed the mulch from the sand very neatly. You would never know that they were gone and it was quick. The price is a little pricey.

I called Ultimate Tree Service and they responded very promptly. This is a second home, but they had no problem going by and assessing the services even though I wasn't there. They promptly called with an estimate. I had other estimates as well. They were not the lowest price, but they offered more for the money (grinding the stump and removing the tree). They set up a day, came over and removed the tree. When I got back in town everything was done, mess cleaned up, tree gone! They even offered to let me pay once I was able to get into town to make sure I was satisfied. Very good people to work with.
