 + -1 moreGreat - Gary was punctual, professional, and effective. He worked on an old piano we just moved to our home, and it was severely out of tune. He did a great job getting it up to working condition and I will definitely be in touch to continue our tuning needs down the road.

Description of Work: Mr. McCormick was punctual, professional, and did exceptional work at a fair price. He is one of only four RPT's (Registered Piano Tuners) in Birmingham (www.ptg.org). Using a non-RPT is comparable to using a tax "preparer" instead of a CPA.

Description of Work: I should have written this right away! I can't remember the exact date or the exact cost but I DO remember the GREAT service. I think it was around $125 but I honestly don't remember. It may have been a little more, or a little less. Either way, it was well worth it! He was very pleasant both when making the appointment and while in the home working; he answered all my questions satisfactorily. He recommended that I have the piano tuned once more in six months and then yearly after that. I will use him regularly to keep the piano tuned.

His estimate was identical to the actual price charged. He performed the work well and with minimal disruptions -- the piano is in tune. I will continue to use him in the future.

 + -1 moreGary arrived in the time frame he said he would and took a little over 2 hrs to tune the piano. He checked the broken pedal and said he would have to make a dowel and would be back in two days to finish the job and not to pay him anything until he returned. He performed as he said he would. I am avery satisfied customer.
Description of Work: Gary tuned my very old baby grand that I had just purchased and moved. He was quick to respond and very professional. Included in this price was a second trip to replace a missing dowel rod on one of the pedals. This was all done in 2 days. I would definitely use him again.
