Did work timely, left everything clean, crew was efficient, fair price. Excellent job and I recommend and will call them back for more work which is the only time I can say that after using other companies in the past

Mike was professional, punctual and fair with his pricing. The magnolia tree was especially tricky because it was growing in the middle of a small dog pen. He and his crew removed the tree without any damage to the fence. All leaves and debris were raked up and hauled away. I would definitely use again.

It took a day after my Angie's List request to actually talk to Broken Branch's owner, Mike Brown, because his cellphone voice box was full - must be in demand! - but once we made contact the following day, he arranged to come out that afternoon to give an estimate. He priced each tree according to size and difficulty to take down. On average, it came to about $300 per tree. The dead photinia was $50 and he threw in the pruning of the photinia next to the house for free. The total bill was $2,235.00.
The date to take down the trees was set for two business days after the day of the estimate with the caveat that if it rained the day before, the date would have to be postponed until the next available dry day. As luck would have it, we received rain during the night. Mr. Brown called the next morning to postpone. The following day, he and his crew arrived right at the designated time with all the equipment and trucks you could imagine: a bucket truck, a truck with a log loader, a truck to haul the cut lumber, etc. The crew numbered 6-8. All were very courteous and got straight to work. There was no dilly-dallying around.
Once the cutting began, I headed in to work. When I stopped by the house just before lunch, most of the trees were already down, and men were hauling large logs to the trucks at the street. Work finished up about mid-afternoon. When I arrived home after work, the yard was cleaned up, and all cuttings were hauled off. The trunks were cut as flush to the ground as possible. There is nothing for me to do except admire their handiwork and get used to not having limbs fall every time a rain storm passes through!
I've had trees of similar or larger size and number cut down on other properties. One tree service was absolutely terrible, the other a complete opposite: fast, professional with no damage or trash left behind whatsoever. Broken Branch is very much like the latter with probably better pricing. I have kept Mike's business card to share with friends and use myself if ever needed in the future.
By the way, many tree services out there are fly-by-night or ill-managed. Broken Tree Tree Service has been in business over 25 years and is licensed and insured. Based on my experience with the company, I have no qualms recommending them to others. Thanks, Broken Branch!

They cleaned up the mess and there was no sign of the tree after they were done. They responded to our need for service very quickly.

They were good. They showed up on time and did what they were supposed to do efficiently. It was a good experience but I don't recall the service cost.

They took DOWN a large /tall 50+ foot pine tree on our property.
Very prompt and courteous.
It took 5 workers to bring down finally.
' CUT PINE AND HAUL AWAY '.
They did all that and more.
Thank you to Mike Brown and crew.

I like that they come prepared to work bring all the necessary tools to get the job done. They were prompt, professional service. I was very satisfied with the overall service. They do good quality work and clean up after the job is done and that means a lot to me. Good hard workers that get the job done right the first time quickly. I would use them again in the future if I needed to.

They had the best prices and the best availability. For the cost and for what I understood of other people's prices, they were very good. The quality was good; you could barely tell that they had been there. I would use them again if I needed to but hopefully I won't have to!
