I first contacted Nelson and told him I had no clue about how the whole process of getting counter tops worked. He told me on the phone basically how it worked and I made an appointment for the same week. When I got there I started working with John Lipsey. We picked out the granite with John's help.He was helpful and super patient! These guys were on time with the measuring and the installation. We are beyond thrilled with our counter tops and even the price was better than I expected.

Absolutely fantastic!  Years ago I had granite countertops installed.  The installer is now out of business and the sink that was installed eventually separated from the countertops and managed to take all the piping out with it when it fell.  Even though these guys had nothing to do with the installation, Hard Rocks Stone and Tile really helped me out within hours of calling (and two days before Christmas)!  My sink is reattached and I am thrilled they were able to do this for me.  Will definitely call them for new bathroom vanity in the new year!  Thank you very much!

I priced about 10 different places for granite counter tops. Found some cheaper (usually by about $200) but wasn't sure their work would be done well. A little extra money would be worth it, if it was done correctly. Really, how often am I going to replace my counters? Not often, so a poor job would have really bothered me.
Dropped by the physical location of this business. They were very professional. Showed me various slabs and cuts available. Also, they showed me a few pieces of art they had created from granite. It was absolutely gorgeous. Obviously, they know how to work extremely well with granite.
The men sent to do measurements and installation were excellent. They said that they had been with the company for many years. They knew their job and did it well, including tricky leveling issues with my cabinets that were not level. I know the installation took twice as much time as they had anticipated; however, they approached it as a challenge and with a determination to successfully install the counters, which they did!
My only complaint was that they never returned to smooth the edge of the counters. I was told that someone would contact me to take care of it. However, no one ever called.

Friends had recommended Hard Rock Stone and Tile to us, after being very happy with work they did. We purchased granite slabs from Hard Rock and also had them install the new countertops in our kitchen.

It was a very good experience all around. The price (for about 64 sq. feet of counterspace) was excellent and included a new undermount double sink. The countertops look terrific (we are hard-pressed to locate a seam) and the job was done quickly and efficiently - just a few business days from ordering to completion. We couldn't be happier.

I had been researching materials and installers for new stone countertops for quite a while, when a friend recommended Hard Rock. I visited their stoneyard, spoke with John, and was encouraged to take my time, look around and ask questions. Everyone was very helpful. We settled on two slabs, and Jason came out to take measurements and give an estimate. He was extremely professional, using high-tech equipment, and clearly is expert at his job. The next day, I received a call, as the slabs were fabricated and ready for installation; I was astonished, as I had never heard of a company working this quickly. Three polite, cheerful young men came with the granite at 8:45 am, worked hard, and were completely done - removal of the old countertops, installation of the new countertop (about 65 sq. ft, so it was a large installation) and dropping in the new undermount sink - by 2 pm. (While they dropped in the sink, they do no plumbing work, so we arranged for a plumber to hook up the sink and the new faucet.) The seams are virtually invisible (Jimmy is an amazing fabricator!) and I was thrilled with the result. They had to work around the tumbled stone backsplash I had installed with my own hands and wanted to keep, and an appliance garage, but did it all beautifully. From start to finish, it couldn't have been a better experience - price, quality, professionalism, craftsmanship. I highly recommend Hard Rock Stone and Tile, LLC.
