We had lost power to one part of the home, the contractor, who was provided by our home warranty program, had to diagnose and then repair the issue. The job took two days to complete, since the first electrician who arrived had an assistant who was apparently not feeling well, and then proceeded to wander the house rather than assist the electrician. I asked that the young assistant who accompanied the electrician not return when it became clear that it would take another day to diagnose the problem. The company owner came the next day, apologized for the behavior of that assistant and with his senior electrician they were able to diagnose the problem, and make the repairs. The total time required was close to 8 hours, combining both days. The work was covered by the warranty program.
