The previous owner did their own work and both toilets were improperly installed. Especially the one where they turned the linen closet into a half bath. The toilet in the linen closet was not in alignment with the drain. Had Mr. Rooter not found the perfect sized toilet for the location of the drain, then they would have had to bust out more concrete and re-run the pipe. They stayed with the job until it was done. It required 3 days and at times there were two of them. They did a great job and it is great that it is finally right. Mr. Rooter is simply the best for all plumbing needs!

Mr. Rooter has always been very professional for us. The plumber was originally afraid he would have to go into the wall to do the valve replacement, but soon discovered he could take care of it by going in at the faucet. This saved $300 dollars as opposed to going into the wall. The valve works better than new.

Their price was really good, and their job was really quick.  They actually charged us a lot less than what they did.  They gave us some advice on how to keep our kitchen sink from getting clogged.  My experience with them was great.  Their service is really competent.  The plumber showed up and took care of everything.  He was very nice and very friendly.  We have been using this service for years.

I was having water/household waste backing up into my shower and tubs.  I selected this company because of their experience with plumbing and septic systems, and Angies List.  I called them first thing in the morning and the phone was answered on the first ring.  I explained my problem and the gentleman suspected what my problem was and said he would have someone out in about two hours.  The men arrived promptly, placed covers on their shoes so not to dirty my home, and proceeded to look at my shower and bathrooms.  This company men were pleasant, knowledgeable, and courteous.  They diagnosed my problem, took actions to fix it and left me confident that they were here to help.  My septic tank was over full and this caused a back up in the line running from my house to my tank.  They pumped my tank, snaked the house line, cleaned my septic tank filter and taught me about my system and ways to keep it healthy.  During there work on my tank, they discovered a possible problem with my leach field drain lines coming from my tank.  They tried several things to ensure that these lines were working properly, but to no avail.  I have possible broke/ collapsed field drain lines.  I have followed their instructions about how to obtain a permit and have the Health Department check my field and establish how many feet of drain lines and how deep they must be.  This will allow me to get estimates on having the lines replaced.  The other thing is that it has rained so much, it may be that my land is just saturated to the point that it will not except any more water.

I called set up an appointment, he was prompt, covered his his shoes when he came into the house. Very polite, did his job and left. It did take a second call, in which he made a return trip within 15 minutes, shortened the chain and all is well. No hassle.

I called them in the morning about 8:00 a.m. because our whole plumbing system was backing up into our downstairs bathroom. They came out first thing and went right to work. They didn't even mind the dogs who wanted to get in there and help them out! The pumper truck came a short while later and the worker pumped out my septic tank and then covered it all back up. The workers were very pleasant and I appreciated the work that they did. By 1:00 p.m. that same day they had everything working again.

Called the company three times trying to get a quote for a septic tank inspection on a home I had just purchased. Spoke with the receptionist and was told someone would call me back with a price. The company never returned my calls with a quote. I suppose they have enough business without mine.

Over the past five years, Mr. Rotor of Scottsboro has repaired a water pipe leak in my yard, dug up and cleaned my septic tank (I live in a rural area of Jackson County), installed an additional outside water faucet, installed a new sink and faucet in my kitchen, and numerous other jobs requiring their type expertise. I am a 60 year old widow living alone, and although I do perform most of my small handyman type tasks, I don't know a thing about plumbing type stuff. When Mr. Rotor staff installed my additional water faucet, they did so while I was at work in Huntsville, and they simply sent me the invoice. Their plumbers are very knowledgeable, friendly men, who usually come to my house in twos. If I had grandsons, I would be glad to claim any one of their people as mine. They're just that nice and easy to work with.

I called Mr. Rooter of Scottsboro on Thursday and they could have come out that day, but I asked them to come Friday morning. The appt. was for 9:00 a.m. and two plumbers arrived on time Friday morning. They were both courteous and professional. I had two problems: 1) the PVC pipe going out to the septic tank was broken, and 2) the pipe going to the tub was rusted and needed to be replaced. Both items were in the crawl space. I had also asked that they install a way to turn off the water at the house, since my turn-off was close to the driveway. Both items were repaired to my satisfaction, and they offered to show me the broken PVC pipe. They also told me that I already had a turn-off for the water in the crawl space. I was unaware of that and I appreciated their honesty. I rated the price as good because I had nothing to compare it to, but I feel I received fair value for the work performed. I would definitely use this company again.
